Project Help provides financial assistance to Idaho Falls residents who need help paying their utility bills. Assistance is limited to one payment per customer per year and is dependent on the amount of funds available. Recipients are evaluated based on need. The program is funded through voluntary donations from Idaho Falls Power (IFP) customers and is administered at no cost. Donations can be included in utility bill payments and are tax deductible.
Idaho Weatherization Program
Qualified customers can receive free weatherization services, which may include insulation, refrigerator replacement, efficient lighting, and measures that improve water-heating efficiency.
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is designed to help low-income households with home energy costs and is available to eligible households during winter months (November - March).
